Our Mission

Science For Every Student in Biratnagar

ASRO (Applied Science Research Organization) is a non-profit run by the youth of Ward No. 4. We believe every student deserves access to hands-on science education, regardless of their background.

๐Ÿ”ฌ

Practical Learning

Students use real telescopes, microscopes, and lab equipment โ€” learning by doing, not just reading.

๐Ÿš

Mobile Laboratory

Our travelling lab visits schools at just Rs. 125 per student, removing cost as a barrier to science.

๐ŸŒŸ

Community Driven

Rooted in Ward No. 4, we collaborate with local offices, schools, and families to build a science culture.

What We Do

Programs & Services

From mobile labs to VR classrooms, ASRO delivers cutting-edge science education to students across Biratnagar.

๐Ÿ”ญ

Instrument Training

Hands-on sessions with telescopes, microscopes, and scientific instruments. Students learn how to operate, calibrate, and record findings.

๐Ÿงช

Chemical Experiments

Supervised chemical reaction experiments with complete safety protocols โ€” gloves, goggles, and ASRO member oversight at all times.

๐Ÿš

Mobile Lab Program

Science comes to schools. Our mobile lab travels to partner schools, delivering experiments for just Rs. 125 per student.

๐Ÿฅฝ

VR Science Experiences

Immersive virtual reality sessions for topics like atomic structure, planetary orbits, and biological systems โ€” with strict content controls.

๐ŸŒŒ

Astronomy Awareness

Sky-watching events, telescope nights, and astronomy workshops to spark curiosity about space science in young Nepali students.

๐Ÿค–

IoT & Automation

Introduction to Internet of Things โ€” smart sensors, automation projects, and real-world tech applications that prepare students for the future of connected devices.

๐Ÿค

Community Programs

Collaborating with Ward No. 4 on cultural events, science fairs, and community outreach to build a science-first culture locally.
